Italy Concert Tour with the University Singers
Donation protected
Hello! My name is SooZin Cha and I am a member of University Singers at the University of Maine. Every four years, University Singers travels overseas and performs in Europe, and this is Europe Tour year! This tour’s destination is Italy – the group will be traveling to Rome, Lecco, Venice, Florence, and more. Not only will we get to visit Italy’s incredible tourist attractions, but we will also be performing in some of the world’s most renowned basilicas and cathedrals.
However, a trip like this will cost a lot of money. As of now, the cost to attend, per person, is around $4,000. It’s a hefty amount, but this is an opportunity of a lifetime that I don’t want to pass up. I would love the chance to represent not only the University of Maine and University Singers, but also my hometown, Little Deer Isle, and my high school, Deer Isle–Stonington High School, on an international level.
I have created this GoFundMe page in hopes to raise some money to help offset the cost of the trip. Every single contribution, no matter the size, will help me get closer to this chance of a lifetime. I am including a comprehensive description of the trip and the cost below to give more insight as to what the $4,000 will cover.
Thank you for taking the time to read all of this, and thank you so much in advance for all your help!
