Hello everyone, my name is Kelly Reno. I am 51 and originally from Chicago IL. I have been a Florida resident for 4 years total, 3 of those I have been in the Florida Keys. I moved to Venice FL by myself not knowing really anyone but away from the only life and family I have. Then 5 months after being there I was diagnosed with double cancers. I fought Breast Cancer & Melanoma (skin). I was alone and facing the most challenging thing life has ever brought my way. I moved to Summerland Key just before Hurricane Irma hit the Key destroying a large part of many Key's as well creating extensive damage to the home I moved into.
Trying to find a good fit for myself with work in the construction industry was and has been very challenging. I struggled and started working in the cleaning industry. I couldn't seem to make ends meet and decided to start a company of my own. I had no experience at all but dove in feet first and tough myself 90% and reached out to others in the same business for guidance to help me learn. I know have been doing this for a year and have now built myself a good reputation here with many new clients. I have somehow managed to get completely in compliance with everything needed by the state to run my own business. I think we all know it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to achieve doing this. I work full time running my business (50-70 hours per week. I also take care of all the landscaping at the property where I live just to receive a discount with my rent as you all know how expensive it is to live here but I have a dream. I am a go getter and want to see my dreams come true. I have found myself a old used van for $800 and thank goodness she runs like a dream lol.
My soul purpose for this request with gofundme is to help my company advance to the next step that I can't seem to get to by myself. I would like to have my company van wrapped to hide the age (2007) and it's flaws and help my business get noticed further. I'm also looking to use the funds to help purchase another used cheap van & title and register. This will help me be able to be operating in two different locations and would really help me climb further.
I think many of you have known me for some time or even perhaps most of my life to know I'm not looking for hand out's but rather some help for me to climb to the next level that I need to be. This would certainly help me achieve this dream of mine. I can't work any harder then I am. I have even tried to get a loan but do not qualify and seem to keep reaching a dead end. I know we all have had many challenges at this time in life and I pray for us all.
If you could possible help with any type of a donation to help me reach my goals and dream's in life I would be be extremely grateful . If you are able to even help with $1.00 I would be so very grateful as I was raised every dollar add's up.
