Island Charity Swim - Swanny, Tiarnee Olly & Adam

Saturday 13th May - Island Charity Swim is an approx 11km charity fundraising event where all proceeds go towards the amazing Nambour, Palmwoods and Currimundi Special Schools for kids.

Almost everyone on the Sunshine Coast knows a family that has benefited from the amazing work of these schools on the Sunshine Coast.

ThIs will be Swanny’s 8th year swimming in the event and 6th year in doing the full swim solo. Supporting me to swim I have the amazing Tiarnee Massie, Olly Monaghan and Adam Palmer paddling the journey - all brilliant Iron athletes and volunteer Lifesavers from Maroochydore SLSC.

Our goal is to raise $2500 clear for the schools - following the small GoFundMe transaction fees - every bit helps thank you.

If you wish to experience one of the most amazing community days on the Sunshine Caost calendar, get down to Mooloolaba spit (cheese block building) around 1000am on the day and experience the magic of the swimmers finishing and the families of the schools celebrating and cheering us all in - it is truly MAGIC!!
