OUR STORY:
Isaac Hope Foundation Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to commemorating the legacy of Archbishop Abune Yesehaq Mandefro. In 1979, the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church ordained Archimandrite Abba Laike Mariam Mandefro as Archbishop Abune Yesehaq (Isaac) of the Western Hemisphere, including jurisdiction over South Africa. Abuna Yesehaq established over seventy churches, with more than 300,000 baptized members. As an Ethiopian Orthodox faith-based international non-profit organization, we are dedicated to preserving the legacy of those who have come before us by actively engaging in projects that support and enhance the social, environmental, economic, and spiritual well-being of the communities we serve. Our primary focus is to ensure that the basic human rights of those in need are met and upheld.
