Irma Horta Memorial Fund

Irma Horta was born March 13th 1940 in Cuba, and was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2013 she  passed away March 7th 2016.  Surrounded by her eternal love Luis Espino, and her youngest son Angel Espino, oldest son Robert Cruz, and Grandson Robert Cruz Jr.

When she found out she had cancer it already had metastasized and spread from her lung to her spine. When she was diagnosed she was already stage 4, and there wasn't much they could do to save her life.

The tumor in her spine broke her spinal cord, and she needed surgery just for her remaining days could be with some comfort. She fought through 3 battles of Gamma Knife surgery to remove tumors in her brain, and under went 2 years worth of chemo and radiation where she slowly got worse, and worse but she continued to be hopeful until her last breath. 

She was the most amazing mother, grandmother, and wife that's ever lived. We have little money for the funeral cost, and final resting place and would greatly appreciate your help to give our beloved Irma Horta a proper send off.

Irma will be laid to rest on march 11th , 2016 in Miami Fla.  This was posted by her youngest son Angel Espino. 

I loved my mother very much, and my life will never be the same. I can't picture myself living without her in my life, and this is earth shattering to me.... I'm going to miss her for the rest of my life. Thank you...
