Indigenous Peoples' Day Philly 2019 | OCT 12

Donation protected

Greetings Friends and Relatives!

SUPPORT OUR WORK and SPREAD THE WORD!

On Saturday, October 12th of 2019 at the Penn Treaty Park, we are celebrating our third year of Indigenous Peoples' Day in the city of Philadelphia.

Every year since Oct 12th, 2017, we have come together on this historic day with the Lenni-Lenape people on whose ancestral territory we stand, to celebrate the multi-ethnic Native American communities living within Lenapehoking.

This year, we are celebrating this day at the Penn Treaty Park–this is the place where once stood the Great Elm Tree of Shackamaxon and where many sachems (chiefs) of the Lenni Lenape and other tribes from the Lenapehoking territory would meet for council.

With that in mind, we invite you to make history with us by supporting this upcoming ONE DAY FESTIVAL!

What We Do
