Hi there! I'm Angelica.
I'm a Black, queer, neurodiverse floral artist—and an aspiring doula deeply committed to community care.
I'm thrilled to share that I've been awarded a full scholarship from Doula Trainings International to attend an in-person doula training this September in Cleveland, Ohio. This news was both unexpected and incredibly exciting! I’m beyond grateful for the chance to learn from experienced birth workers and bring that wisdom back home to support my queer and black community in Maine.
That said, the training is right around the corner, and I'm reaching out for some support to help make it all happen. While the scholarship covers the training itself, I still need help covering travel, lodging, and taking time off work.
If you're able to invest in this journey, I would be deeply thankful. I truly believe that the knowledge I gain will ripple outward—not just through the families I support, but through our entire community.
As a gesture of gratitude, I’d love to gift you flowers if that’s something that speaks to you. If you're in Southern Maine, we can chat logistics via email.
Thank you for believing in this work—and in me.
