In memory of Cheryl Taylor

Cheryl Taylor was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend to all.

On 16th December 2017 she was tragically killed in an accident when a balcony collapsed while she was attending a Christmas party.

Cheryl had a kind and generous heart and was socially active, contributing in school, church, neighborhood watch and Tupperware communities.  With her passing her family have been overwhelmed by the number of people who truly loved her and valued her friendship and dedication.

She always used to say she was flying under the radar, and it is now clear how true that was. She offered so many people a helping hand, a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, or a ‘suck it up’ reality-check when required. Cheryl never chased accolades for her good deeds, and it is only now that we have heard the extent of her kindness from the people whose lives have been enriched by her friendship.

Still very much in shock, Cheryl’s family is coming to terms with the intense grief and media attention that has resulted. This tragic event had the associated costs of flights for family and funeral expenses for Cheryl’s amazing life to be celebrated just a few days before Christmas. All proceeds from this fund will assist the family to recover from these unexpected costs.
