INJURED STRAY CAT NEEDS VET CARE

This sweet cat is FELV positive and needs broken teeth fixed while he recovers from injuries :( 

During the winter snowstorms, this injured cat appeared outside, terrified and unable to walk on his back leg. He was covered in scratches and wounds. I was able to trap him and bring him to the vet, where X-rays and bloodwork revealed a bad infection in his leg (and we discovered that he is a very sweet boy) . He has received treatment, is recovering and a healthy guy except for testing positive for FELV.

An FELV diagnosis means his immune system would have more trouble fighting bacteria, so to give him the best chance possible, the vet has recommended a dental to clean and remove his broken teeth.

With the other diagnostic testing done so far, neuter, and dental, costs are adding up to be over $3000. If anyone who wanted to support his journey would like to contribute, we are doing our best to give this boy’s health the best chance before he goes to his forever home!
