India trip to Tashi Lumpo Monastary.

My name is Michael Uhila and I'm a human being that is looking forward to do some traveling. My mother is from the Independent Island of Samoa and my father is from the Kingdom of Tonga. I was born in the states and I've done all kinds of stuff. I produced two short films and tons of tv shows for the media center. I've played drums in gospel groups, reggae groups and jazz groups.

I am a student of life that walked into all kinds of traditions like Christianity and is now officially a Buddhist. I been blessed to have many opportunities, like when I was a fully ordained monk at Gampo Abbey studying with Ani Pema Chodron. I got to delve deep into meditation practice and be up to one whole month of silence from speaking to people.

What have I learned? There's more I don't know than what I do know. What I know is not as important as being a decent human on earth. Can I do that without being greedy or aggressive towards myself and others? Can I bring myself to be humble and ask for your financial support for me to go to India and to see the land and it's people.
