Our school in Crossfield, AB does not have an outdoor play structure!. Students and the members in the community need a safe, fun place that will directly impact their mental and physical health, daily. The design for this play structure will be the first accessible (visually, physically, and intellectually), middle school design in Crossfield. It was designed and selected by the students it will serve. It has age appropriate skills and equipment making it a mature play structure.
Our school opened in 1983, our small community schools are the heart of our community. Donations of all sizes working together will have the biggest impact on making our play structure a reality. It will be a long-lasting legacy that our students have earned and have been working to obtain. It was scheduled to be installed Fall 2020, fundraising halted due to the economy and health & safety guidelines. We have not been able to reschedule the installation date due to the decline in fundraising.
Please help us make an accessible outdoor play structure where our Kids Will Get to be Kids! Let’s get them in the fresh air, having screen time and their innocence back!
