In support of Vinit Thakkar's family

No one who has ever met Vinit can ever forget him. He had that kind of mesmerizing personality, a charm, a manner of speaking and relating to others that came naturally to him. He has left behind so many vivid memories, so much love and affection, that to digest his absence will be a labor of Sisyphus; no matter how hard we try, a wellspring of memories will rise from the very depths, to revive the agony and the pain of the loss. For each one Vinit touched during his lifetime, this loss will remain personal, acute, and unassuaged.

While we grieve losing a very dear and special colleague and a friend together, we can’t even begin to fathom the loss and void for Vinit’s wife and son. Little seven-year-old Neal has grown up overnight, and from chasing paper planes with his dad, he is wiping his mother’s tears, reassuring her that “we will be OK.”
