Help the Seery Family Fund
Back in 2019, our family suffered a devastating event when Philip Seery, husband to Joanne (Rossi) Seery, father to Justin, Brendon, and Jason, had two consecutive heart attacks in a matter of 40 minutes. With the help of God, and the amazing nurses and doctors at CMC Union, he survived. For the next several months, he was in and out of rehab and occasionally back in the hospital due to setbacks. With each setback his will grew stronger and stronger, but his strength got weaker. He fought tirelessly for the next 2 years enduring bouts of excruciating pain and suffering. Nobody should have to go through what this man went through. Yet through it all, Phil's love for his family, his unforgettable sense of humor, spirituality, and his exemplary attitude towards life remains an inspiration to his family to be strong and carry on.
Phil taught us a love of life, headstrong determination, strength, and courage beyond measure. One of Phil's mantras in life was "life moves on." Even during his most challenging times, he never once said it in the context of tragedy. Whether it be the Steelers losing a game, or an unexpected empty gas tank -"Life moves on." In his final months, Phil never stopped fighting, as a beacon of hope and adversity, he always lived up to his nickname, Superman.
Please keep Phil and his family in your thoughts and prayers. His legacy continues though all of us but most importantly his amazing boys one of which has special needs.
