On August 24, 2024, the lives of so many were changed forever. Beloved Husband and Father, Samuel Kawooya, was in a serious motorcycle accident in Uganda, East Africa.

With devastating hearts, we share that Samuel Kawooya did not survive; leaving behind his dear wife, Leslie Gore-Kawooya and children, Phillip and Zoe.

Samuel and Leslie were missionaries to Uganda, East Africa. Co-Founding their Non-For-Profit organization, Revive Ministries Uganda. Together, they have created a beautiful life for themselves, and their children. With so many people both in Canada and in Uganda supporting the work that they have done over the years they have spent living in Uganda.

We are asking for anyone that knows Leslie, Sam and their precious children to donate to this fundraiser as this loss is devastating for them. Leslie, as well as Phillip and Zoe need all the love, support and comfort that they can get in the coming days.

It is through this fundraiser, that we would like to extend our sincere condolences and support of Leslie, and the kids in any way we can.

Samuel, your light and joy radiated through this world. You were an incredible husband, to your wife, Leslie. And a remarkable father to both Phillip and Zoe. You will be truly missed, may you rest in peace ️️
