Help Shalaney's family with their loss

It’s been almost two weeks ago we said our final farewell to our beautiful Shalaney ❤️

Thank you for all the support during this difficult time, we would like to express our sincere appreciation for the kindness and compassion shown at the passing of Shalaney Maria Dagli Velasquez.

We have decided to keep raising money for Kay and the family to help them with the grieving process. With the sudden loss of their beautiful daughter, it unfortunately means a loss of income for the family. This tragic loss has hugely impacted on their health and wellbeing.

As some may know Kay and the family are not coping very well, the pain and heartache they are feeling is unimaginable. Both Kay and Sal are not emotionally and mentally ready to go back to work and they don’t know when they will be ready, adding financial pressure and stress to their situation. Time continues to be difficult for the whole family.

We wish to send the family away on a holiday, this will allow them to focus on each other and their grieving process as a family. Your support will ease the financial burden on the family and also help them to get back on track.

The money previously made ($21,627) went towards the funeral cost. Any new donations will now go towards the family’s counselling cost, living expenses and family holiday.

In loving memory of Shalaney Velasquez a beloved daughter, sister, grand-daughter, niece, cousin and friend.

A beautiful soul left this world too soon.
On Sunday, 28 April 2019 we lost our beautiful Shalaney. She fought hard and strong to stay with us but unfortunately God had other plans.

Shalaney lit up people's lives with her big infectious smile and laughter. She had a love for life and cared deeply for those around her.

Her family is struggling with the most difficult loss of their lives, and words cannot describe the pain that they are dealing with during this time. The last thing we want for the family to worry or deal with at this time is any financial burden.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps. All money raise will go directly to Shalaney's parents - Kay and Sal, to help with the funeral cost.

We extend our deepest gratitude to those who offer their support to the family during this difficult time.

Kay, Sal and the family are overwhelmed and touched by the generous donations made by family, friends, and the community.

Location: Hillsong Church, 65 Doody St, Alexandria NSW 2015
(Parking onsite)The entry to the church is on Graphix Row which leads into the business park

Following the service, the funeral cortege will proceed to Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park
12 Military Road, Matraville where Shalaney will be laid to rest.

Shalaney's favourite colour was blue so we invite you to wear a touch of blue, but not necessary.
