It is with much sorrow, we sadly have lost a wonderful friend in the aviation family. On September 28, 2021, Karl Braun took his last flight to the other side of the mountains. He is happily rejoicing in the skies beyond.

He was a awesome pilot, great mechanic and wonderful friend, to many of us on the East ramp and in the aviation industry. He flew many flights, charters, medivacs and worked on many of our airplanes.

His famous saying always was, “I am living the dream!”He loved what he did, always had a smile for everyone and loved sharing Alaska, with so many people. He thoroughly enjoyed living the dream, here on earth. He will be missed terribly, by all of us.

He leaves his beautiful wife Kristy, his two wonderful children Karalyn 12 and Kristopher 9. We are all coming together to help Kristy and the kids, especially as they head into winter. We would appreciate your support and donation for the family.
