On October 28, 2026, our family experienced a heartbreaking tragedy that no family should ever have to endure. My precious granddaughter, Nayilah Anamiko Butler, tragically lost her life in a car accident.

Our hearts are shattered.

We were not prepared to say goodbye to our beautiful baby girl. Instead of making memories, watching her grow, and celebrating all the beautiful moments her life should have held, we are now faced with the unimaginable task of preparing to lay her to rest.

As her grandmother, I am asking our family, friends, community, and anyone whose heart is touched by our loss to please help us give Nayilah the beautiful and dignified homegoing she deserves.

All donations will go toward her funeral, burial, related arrangements, and the care of her 3-year-old sister who witnessed this tragedy.
