In Loving Memory of Marcus Moore

Donation protected
Marcus Duane Moore was the epitome of a great father, husband, uncle, friend, and son.  He married the love of his life, Naudia Moore, 23 years ago and from this blessed union, three beautiful sons, Aaron (17), Arell (13), and Arius (6).  On Friday, November 3, 2017, at the age of 44, Marcus was tragically killed in an accident in Capitol Heights, Maryland, when a transit bus hit his vehicle.  Marcus was accompanied in the vehicle with his youngest son, Arius.  Thankfully, Arius walked away from this fatal accident with his life.  But, his father, Naudia’s husband, her “Waynie”, did not.  He left our world with a great legacy and a heavy heart.

Marcus was a man of faith.  He was a believer in GOD.  His inner spirit reflected love, vitality, peace, and kindness.  He always put his family first and incorporated his friends and loved them all the same.  Marcus was the life of the party, sun-glass wearing, dancing, silly, and always ready to go somewhere and do something.  Marcus lived his life to the fullest.  And, he was also the primary financial provider in his household.

While Naudia stayed at home and managed the children and household affairs for many years until very recently, Marcus worked many hours on his job at the Prince George’s County Board of Education in Upper Marlboro, Maryland to provide a life for his family of five.  As a team, the young couple placed a heavy emphasis on God, family, and education.  This year, the couple’s oldest son, Aaron, will graduate from high school and attend college; their middle son, Arell, will graduate from middle school to high school; and, Arius will continue to matriculate through elementary school.

This financial campaign is to support the loved-ones of a man who loved and supported his family most of his life.  While his body departed so suddenly from us, his spirit lives in his children and the eternal love that he shared with his wife.
