Loriana Santos, AKA Boogie, was a beautiful, happy, and inspiring little girl who brought joy into every life she touched.  She loved and adored her siblings, mother and father. Her smile always warmed the hearts of family and friends. She was truly loved and cherished for all the joy and love she brought into our lives. Her memory will continue on, in the lessons she taught us about life and love.   
     
      Sadly, no family ever expects to lose a child. Though Lori had battled  with Dravet Syndrome since birth, her family was not prepared to suddenly lose her to unexpected complications on February 9, 2019. The family is now faced with unexpected medical bills, funeral expenses, missed work, and more. No one should have to worry about finances while dealing with the unimaginable sudden loss of a child.

      As I write this, her father Gabriel Santos, a dear friend of mine is on his way home from serving our country on his third deployment currently in Afghanistan. The deployment and distance has added extra financial and resource stress that would otherwise not exist.
