In Loving Memory of Jana Reeves

By now, most of you have heard about the untimely passing of Coach Jana Reeves.  Our beloved Jana C. Reeves passed away on Feb 13, 2021. Jana was a beloved and hard working wife, daughter, mother, sister, coach and friend who touched the lives of those around her. Jana leaves behind a loving family, including husband Halton and two children Haley and Jaylen. Jana lived a life centered around discipline and hardwork and if you were around her, you couldn't help but to follow suit! She was a devoted wife and mother and it was no secret how much she loved them. Jana was a loyal friend; one who could be counted on to give laughs and honest advice. She was a dedicated family member and made it a point to build relationships with everyone. Jana loved to learn; she proudly held two Masters degrees.  As a teacher, Mrs. Reeves was committed to ensuring her students knew all they could and more about history. Coach Reeves held her players and students to the highest of standards. 
Jana worked at Danny Jones Middle School as a History teacher, volleyball, basketball and track coach for several years. Prior to Mansfield ISD, she taught and coached in Grand Prairie ISD. Recently, she was an Instructional Coach in Dallas ISD. In her spare time, you'd find her coaching young volleyball players. She will be missed!

We are raising money for the family. We know that they will be incurring large funeral costs and would benefit from additional funds to help them get through this difficult time for flights, food and any other needs.

We are looking to raise as much money as possible in the next few days to be able to present to the family. It is during moments like this that communities work together to pick each other up and help our own through this most difficult of times.
