In memory of someone I thought of like a brother…
It seems so unreal to think that Jeff is not going to come in the office today. I am completely overcome and devastated that he will never again return.
What can you say in a time like this? What can you do?
For those of you with him in his last moments, thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving him the very best chances he had to make it through. You all selflessly gave of yourselves to call for help, to perform CPR, to help in any way you could. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Death never comes at opportune times. It is never easy and in Jeff’s case, it is an acute loss that is unreal and unbelievably difficult!
I know Jeff well enough to know that he would not have wanted our last memories of him to be bound up in the events of yesterday. He was such a dear friend to all of us.
Let us instead fix our minds on our friendship with Jeff.
I’m going to remember his smiling face.
I’m going to remember that he was funny and will miss his laugh.
I’m going to remember him scavenging off everyone’s food for a “taste”
I’m going to remember talking to him about parenting and his boys. He loved those boys even when he wanted to tear his hair out over something they did.
I’m going to remember his sweet relationship with Lisa – those two loved each other beautifully.
I loved him like a brother.
He will be missed.
This is a memorial fund set up for Lisa Molomolo and their family to help with the unexpected loss of her husband Jeffrey Molomolo.
This fund is going directly to his family and will help pay funeral costs and other financial challenges he and his family may still face. We know there are a lot of Jeff's friends around that knew him well and loved him like a brother that can’t make the memorial but would like to contribute.
