Improvements to the Durant, OK Rodeo Arena

The Durant Riding Club has been a staple of Durant, OK since 1941. We have worked hard to produce top-notch rodeos with award-winning stock and contestants. In 2021, we took a leap of faith to enter into the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association and, while it was unchartered territory for us, we could not have asked for better results. In the past three years, the Durant PRCA Rodeo has had a record number in attendance and some of the biggest names of professional rodeo in our arena.

With this, comes the absolute need to expand, improve, and modernize the Durant Riding Club arena facilities. In 2023, we built a permanent pavilion to hold our VIP & Hospitality meal and it is already proving to be a huge asset to the facility. Post rodeo in June 2023, we recognized the immediate need for a permanent bathroom on the East side of the arena (main entrance). The restrooms will consist of 2 stalls plus a sink in a men's restroom and 2 stalls plus a sink in a women's restroom.

We are raising funds to help offset the cost of building materials and labor. Every dollar counts and each contribution over $100 will be listed on a plaque on location.
