Help Esther get a specialist report for immigration appeal

Dear friends, community members and human rights advocates,

My name is Eliza and I'm reaching out to you on behalf of our good friend, Esther. Esther has lived in the UK for nearly 17 years. She is a dedicated volunteer for both Hackney Migrant Centre and the Second Chance Cafe in Stoke Newington and is loved by staff, volunteers, and friends alike. Esther is appealing against a Home Office decision to refuse her application for leave to remain. Esther really needs a specialist expert report to support her appeal, and help her to stay in the UK. Legal Aid will unfortunately not cover this cost.

We are asking our community to gather together, and help us raise £3,569 for this report for the First-tier Tribunal. We need to do this as soon as possible because the Tribunal has given Esther a deadline for filing all her appeal evidence and her solicitor needs time to commission the report from the expert and the expert will need time to prepare it. We want to do absolutely everything we can to help Esther win her immigration appeal, and stay in the UK.
