A group of supporters has created this initiative to assist Jillian Simmons, founder of JJ's I'm Me Foundation and I'm Me Tour. The I'm Me Foundation is a 501c3 organization providing positive social experiences, character building training and self worth through education and entertainment. This fundraising endeavor will benefit JJ's continued efforts to empower and inspire young women. Since it's inception, JJ has solely funded the Foundation and Tour out-of-pocket.
The Goal
To sponsor 880 girls for a year of JJ's I'm Me Tour.
The Facts
The tour is FREE to middle and high school aged girls.
The tour cost $16,500 to cover a full year of tour expenses.

About JJ
JJ is a proud mother to a beautiful six-year-old daughter. She uses her passion from the "mommy experience” to advocate for higher quality prenatal care in underprivileged communities. Although she has always had an innate desire to empower others, raising a daughter has deepened her desire to foster change in the lives of women, and inspired her to give birth to the I’m Me Foundation.
In keeping with her mission to create opportunities for positive social interactions and character-building experiences, the I’m Me Foundation provides tools to improve the the esteem and self worth of girls and young women. JJ is currently chronicling her own personal experiences from a past abusive relationship and the journey to healing in her book, “Without Bruises,” designed to give guidance to others who find themselves in harmful situations.
About The Foundation

With girls not being able to see many positives images on TV or the media, we felt their was a need to expose these girls to amazing, positive women in the community.
Through programs like JJ’s “I’m Me Tour”, young ladies in middle school and high school receive empowering messages of self-worth and what their value is to the world. The “I’m Me” Tour is designed to give the tools they need to challenge themselves in all areas of their lives including sessions on Health/Fitness, Beauty/Style, Goal Setting, Etiquette and more! JJ’s “I’m Me” Foundation also holds an annual event on World AIDS Day, MAKE ME OVER FOR THE CAUSE. There women received pampering while being educated on HIV/AIDS.
About The Tour
An empowering experience for girls! The “I’m Me” Tour is designed to give young ladies the tools they need to challenge themselves in all areas of their lives! Sessions on Health/Fitness, Beauty/Style, Goal Setting, Etiquette and more!
The beginning of the program starts off with a live DJ or video. JJ introduces herself as well as the wonderful panel of ladies that will conduct the breakout sessions. She speaks a little about the program and what will take place during the course of the day. The ladies will receive a passport and their breakout session assignments. Each class consists of a 30-45-minute session that will teach the following skills:
I’m Beautiful- Basic Hygiene, Skin Care, Self-Esteem builders
I’m Living The Good Life- finding your passion, setting goals, vision boards
I’m Fit and Fabulous- Healthy Eating, creating personal fitness goals, setting a routine for a healthy lifestyle
I’m Classy- an interactive session on proper etiquette, body language, attitude, confidence, social networking and more
I’m Me Tour WRAP UP! -After all of the sessions are complete JJ gives final remarks including a empowering message to the girls about how important they are to the world and how it’s ok to be GREAT!
This program doesn’t stop here. The students compete against other schools in community service activities. At the end of the year, we bring all of the students together for a big celebration.
