My best mate Tom suffered a life-changing C5 spinal compression injury in a swimming pool last summer, resulting in the loss of movement in his arms and legs.

Because Tom’s accident resulted in an ‘incomplete’ spinal cord injury, we are trying to raise as much money as possible, to give him the best chance of recovering his mobility and regaining his independence.

The NHS funded institutions where he has been a patient since his accident, have not offered him anywhere near the amount of help he needs, resulting in only minor improvements.

The main aim is to get Tom into a facility where he will be given all the rehabilitation he needs in order to make more significant improvements.

I will be running the Marathon Of The Treasure Coast in Florida, on March 7th 2021.
