We adopted Jacob when he was 4 months old, It was one of the best days of our lives and we feel so blessed. He is now 7. He has had his share of medical issues and is diagnosed with cerebal palsy and is legally blind. Taking care of him has made my life so happy and being a mommy has been the best thing I have ever done.
I am currently in school to become an RN, I am also employed part time at my school. My husband works 50+ hours per week to support our family and get us through school. We are making it fine. There are tough times, but we have been getting through. Once I earn my degree and start my new career in a couple years, things will be much easier money-wise, but we can't wait that long.
We have been offered another HUGE blessing, a sweet little baby boy. He is living with us and we are in absolute love with him! The only thing keeping us from making him a permanent fixture in our family is how much it will cost . Adoption is expensive! We are not ones to ask for money, but the love we have for this little boy has changed our view, at least temporarily.
Please consider helping us if you can, we know this is coming at a bad time of year, we are hoping to be able to start the process near the end of January. Every little bit helps.
Jacob is excited about the idea of having a little brother. He has been amazing and so loving with him, we would really like to see his dreams and wishes come true as well.
