My name is Sonora Miller, and I have an incredible opportunity coming up that I need your support to make a reality. Next spring break, in March 2025, I will be traveling to Italy to immerse myself in its rich culture, history, and language. It's a dream come true, and I'm reaching out for your help to make it happen!

From walking through the ancient ruins of the Colosseum in Rome to floating along the canals of Venice in a gondola, I’ll be diving deep into the art, architecture, and traditions that make Italy so special. I'll savor authentic gelato and pizza in the places where these culinary delights were born, witness the awe-inspiring art in Florence, and take in the breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast in Sorrento and Capri. I’ll even stand in the shadow of gladiators at the Roman Colosseum and explore the ancient city of Pompeii, frozen in time by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius.

This trip will also give me the chance to study the Italian language and connect with locals, allowing me to appreciate their culture and way of life in a way textbooks just can’t capture. Whether it’s visiting the Vatican or simply strolling through cobblestone streets, this experience will shape me in ways that will stay with me forever.

This experience will not only deepen my appreciation for Italy’s beauty, but it will also enrich my education, broaden my horizons, and help me grow as a person. Traveling abroad has always been a dream of mine, and this trip will allow me to step outside my comfort zone, embrace a new culture, and make memories that will last a lifetime.
