Dear Friends and Family,
I am reaching out to you to ask for your support. Many of you know that I recently went to Standing Rock in North Dakota. I returned home with an understanding that supporting Indigenous Sovereignty and Dignity is one of the most important truths to unraveling much that is broken in our country.
Since I have returned, I have dedicated my time to supporting and elevating the messages in support of Standing Rock’s non-violent prayerful defense of Clean Water and Treaty Rights. One of the projects that I have been involved in has been Paul Che Oke Ten Wagner’s "Winter Shelter for Standing Rock !”.
In working with Che Oke Ten, the opportunity to return to Standing Rock in a place of service has been presented. Within the next couple of days, I plan on returning for up to two weeks to help set up 60 winter shelters with wood stoves for the community there before the ground freezes.
My goal is to be able to cover my travel, some basic food, and get some winter gear so that I can build outside in freezing temperatures for 10-12 hours a day. If I raise above my goal, I will use those funds to bring specific supplies to the friends and families that opened their hearts and hearths to me while I was there.
Know that I appreciate your heart, your fierce light
and your willingness to make a stand for what is right.

Here is a clip, I filmed, of Peter Yarrow and his daughter leading a sing along around the fire at Standing Rock for some inspiration....
