Ian’s marathon for Donabate Portrane SO Club

This is my 4th Dublin City marathon. This year I have chosen our local Special Olympics club, Donabate Portrane Special Olympics club, as the charity I will raise funds for.

I know athletes who are members of this club and many of their parents are good friends of mine.

It is a fantastic club and caters for children from age 4 years old up to adults. They depend on donations and fundraising to fund the club so that families don’t have to pay.

I really appreciate any donations no matter how small. They all add up.

It really helps me get through my long training runs and the marathon knowing you are all supporting me to raise these much needed funds.
