With recent news around Ians life curve ball, he has had to make a drastic change in his diet. After wondering how best to help and speaking with a few of his school friends it’s come to my attention that we can best offer Ian the nutrition his body needs while he takes care of other more important matters in his family and social life. His new alkaline diet is heavy on fruit, vegetables, legumes, nuts and some minerals in various forms. It’s a massive amount of weekly preparation and my plan is to take the shopping aspect away from him and some of the preparation where possible. We can achieve this through wholesale Organics buying and the odd online shop for various items he needs. I’ve asked Ian to start to prepare me a weekly grocery list as he begins this transition. At this stage I have set this up to get the ball rolling and so the figure on here is arbitrary in some way but I would suspect he would need to be purchasing anywhere from $200-400 per week for this particular diet so I have set a figure that I estimate gets him about 9-12 months worth. I will continue to update this gofundme as we have more info and we begin to make the purchases.
