Ian Hurricane Relief: Oak Haven Park, FL Residents

Our family is starting this page to raise relief money for the Oak Haven Park residents in Arcadia, Florida. Our parents, Mike and Brenda Greene, as well as our Grandma, Dee, live in Oak Haven Park. They are devastated, but not because of their losses, but for their neighbors’.

As you all know, Florida was hit by Ian yesterday and many are left with bills for repairs, temporary stays, items lost, new homes etc.

What you may not be aware of is that Oak Haven Park is not just a park, it is a community of individuals that are truly each other’s families. This park is full of retirees, veterans, parents, and grandparents.

I personally have seen this community host a charity event where residents poured hours of their individual skills into creating items to auction in hopes of raising donations.

Lets all pitch in so this incredible community can get back to line dancing classes, golf leagues, movie nights, murder mystery nights and more importantly enjoying the peaceful life that they found at Oak Haven Park.

I will have the funds transferred to myself then sent to Brenda to use for the community as we collectively decide is beneficial.  We will continue to post updates on where these funds are used.
