Guess what, y'all? We are headed to the DNC! Y'all are still running with Lula, right?
On June 12th, I was unanimously approved to serve on the Credentials Committee for the North Carolina Delegation to the 2016 Democratic National Convention as appointed by the Bernie Sanders’ campagin. I’m deeply honored to have this opportunity to represent Charlotte and North Carolina at the upcoming Democratic convention. As the youngest member elected to any committee on the North Carolina Delegation, I’m happy to continue to educate and include my peers and fellow Democrats about the importance of the DNC and the political process, at large.
Make no mistake about it, we have a long fight ahead of us to ensure a Democrat takes the White House in November. First, we must select our Democratic nominee in July. I am headed to the DNC in support of Senator Bernie Sanders however no matter if you’re “Feeling the Bern" or “You’re with Her”, I hope you will continue to Run with Lula on the road to the DNC.
Everything in life favors the prepared and the preparation for this opportunity is $1875 to do this work. That cost will cover my hotel stay for 5 days, breakfast while there, ground transportation once on the ground in Philly, and other delegation events. That price does not include travel to Philly nor does it cover other meals while in Philly.
Is $5, $25, $50, $100, $500 or more something you'd be willing to consider donating in order to help me fulfill my role as a committee member? Whether you are able to give little, much, or nothing at all I am grateful for your support. Please keep the entire delegation in your thoughts and prayers as we, both, raise funds and travel to represent our great state of North Carolina.
