Support the Acosta Family

Bertha Acosta has been a member of our KIPP North Team and Family for the past eight years, supporting her children as they’ve grown up as students at Dream, 3D, and Generations.  While being a KIPP parent to four KIPPsters is challenging as it is, for the past year, Bertha did all of it while fighting her own personal battle with cancer.  Tragically, Bertha passed away this week, leaving behind Raul, KGC class of 2015, Krista, 3D Class of 2019, Fernando and Gerardo, Dream Classes of 2025 and 2027.  While the family needs our love and support most of all, they are also in need of financial support to provide funeral arrangements and other necessities during this incredibly difficult time.  When a teammate needs help, we give, and we are reaching out to our team and family to join us in support of the Acosta children.
