South Africa Holiday Joy

Its the holiday season and I know we are all buying gifts and telling people what we want, and its easy to forget that not everyone has that luxury. Last year we visited orphanages in Pretoria, South Africa around the holidays and not only were they not receiving presents, but they were having one slice of buttered bread for lunch, and in yesterdays dirty clothes. Some kids were sent to a family for the holiday, only to have a nice night and then be sent back to the orphanage the next day. Needless to say, these little ones are a lot less fortunate than we are, and deserve at least the essentials this christmas. With the money we raise we will buy clothes, blankets, hygiene products, first aid products, toys, and donate money to the orphanage when the girls go back this month. Any little bit will go a long way! These kids changed our lives and we have the opportunity to change theirs. The most persistant and urgent question in life is, What are you doing for others?
