A single mom with a broken leg needs help

Single mom of 3 boys out of work due to a bad broken leg. My name is Amanda Nicholas. I am a single divorced mother of three boys. Two of my boys are disabled. My oldest son is level 3 regressive autism and nonverbal. My middle son has a rare form of epilepsy. My youngest son is delayed some but in fine. In November of 2023 my husband and father of two of my boys left me. He doesn't do much as far as helping with our boys. Anytime I ask for help it becomes a huge fight.

On Thursday 10/9/2025 I fell trying to leave to go to work. It was a very hard fall and I broke both bones in my left leg. I shattered the tibia near my lower leg to the ankle. It required surgery in which I had to get a rob, plates pins and multiple screws. I have been in a lot of pain. My current place of employment because I have not been there over one year said they will only hold my job for one month. I will not be able to return to work for up to maybe 6 months. I am in need of help. For the time being my mother is helping take care of me and my kids. My father is 71 and retired and can not afford to help me pay for my car, home and dally life. I am turning to the internet for help. I don't know what else to do. Unemployment is only $222.00 a week and it will not be enough to pay my mortgage or anything else. If anyone can find it in their hearts to help me it will be greatly appreciated. I am not the person to ever ask for help but in this I am in need of help. If you can, any amount can help.
