Dilara's Drama Education

Dilara Naska,
Is a 14 years old  child who has a big passion about performing arts.   
She is not only  academically brilliant, but also  very talented in music, dance and drama. Because of her artistic qualities in art she has dedicated herself completely in performing arts education.  Over the years Dilara's talent and dedication have taken shape in music ( piano/ cello/voice) in dance (ballet/ modern/ jazz) and her biggest passion in drama.

In the beginning of 2015-16 academic year, Dilara decided to be auditioned for two- artistically  challenging schools for her future carrier. She had worked very hard in academics and concentrated in artistic expression in order to be well prepared  for the auditions.  Dilara auditioned for " The Chicago Academy for the Arts" in musical theater major and her dream school and   one of thethe world's best and most prestigious arts high schools “Interlochen Academy Arts” in drama/ musical theater major.

Recently, Dilara has been accepted by those two schools to continue her theater education for four years and invited  to begin in 2016-17 academic year as the 9th grade student.

Interlochen  Arts Academy has also awarded Dilara more than 50% scholarship. This partial scholarship will help cover the tuition fee for most of her academic and art classes.  

The whole selection procedure was very challenging and competitive. The audition has been held in the entire nation with a touring jury, local and international. Currently there are students from 47 countries in the academy.

 Dilara is now very excited to be part of this beautiful community to explore more about art and her major drama. However, as she has received only partial grant, the school’s remaining tuition cost is still much higher than what  we as her family could afford.

Every single support, no matter how big or small, is an important step and a very valuable investment in this bright, hard working, and talented child’s education and future. For this reason and to make Dilara’s dream come true, we  decided to raise $27,000 for the remaining part of the tuition through a fundraising event.  

We believe  in Dilara’s dedication and talent so much. Witnessing her personal growth and pathway to maturity at each moment through art is just incredible.
