Hi, my name is Troy Tucker and I am asking donations for the Ross/McClenton Family. On Thursday, August 11, 2022, Markhasia (aka Jarae) was enjoying summer with friends like any other 17 year old. She and a few others were gathered in front of a friend’s house sharing conversation, when shots rang out. While trying to run for cover, Jarae fell, could not get up, and discovered she had been shot in the leg, shattering her tibia. THIS BULLET WAS NOT MEANT FOR HER!! Jarae is a hard-working young lady who has two summer jobs. She also plays basketball on a traveling team as well as for the high school in which she attends. Her mother, Marshetta McClenton, is devastated and will be taking an indefinite leave from her job to aid in her daughter’s rehab.
