HX Lunch for the Homeless

Action on Homelessness are a charity that provides hot meals and takeaway snack bags for around 60 homeless people in Folkestone twice a week.
We'd like to help - we want to sponsor one of these lunches by providing all the snack bags and the hot meal on Thurs 25th June. We have a Chef who has kindly offered to cook the meal for us and we have had all the items for the snack bags donated already all we need now is the ingredients for the meal.
Just £3 will provide a homeless person with a hot nutritious meal and take away snacks. This service is more important than ever as lots of the outlets where they would have got a hot meal have been closed due to Covid-19.
£3 - That's half a bottle of wine - a couple of big bars of chocolate - or a little more than your daily latte!
If everyone can donate just £3 we will have more than enough to provide the meal and help Action on Homelessness going forward too.
This is a great chance for HX'ers to make a real difference at a time when some people are really struggling.
