They still need help...
Today is Saturday the day after Hurricane Delta hit Louisiana. Their 2 hurricane in 6weeks and one day exactly. I lost contact with my sons step mom for several hours throughout last night and somehow with my anxiety levels in overdrive I managed to fall asleep knowing I was very worried about our extended family. I wake up at 4am to ready up for work for 5am and my first thing on my mind was to try and make contact with Tricia (my sons step momma).
7:53am I finally get a text message “We are good”. Taking a big breath and Thanking Our God Almighty for hearing our prayers, I replied, “PRAISE GOD”!
Hello everyone. My name is Veronica Delgado Newhall. I’m from Kyle Texas. My son is Christopher and he has four siblings, they are Cassie, Miranda, Zachary, and Ethan. Their mom and step dad are Jeff and Tricia Morrell.
First I want to just say that when you need God the most, He sends you his Best!
Our extended family needs our help more now than ever. If 2020 has been hard on us this year, then it’s been devastating to our extended family.
In Exactly 6 weeks and 1 day they’ve survived two hurricanes. They managed to evacuate fromHurricane Laura to back and have no power or jobs. Thankfully their home had minimal damage but still no power.
They are grateful they can say they are still together and they are well after riding out the second hurricane Delta. With no money or jobs while trying to clean up after Laura, it was a very difficult choice to stay and pray for the best.
Well, I prayed with Tricia from a distance, andour prayers were heard.
Moving forward, I often see that disasters like this can really hinder someone’s ability to see a positive outlook. Having young children and not knowing how long it’s going to take to buy the next bag of groceries has never been an easy experience.
Thats why I’m reaching out to you today to askyou to help me adopt this family until they are back on their feet from all of this experience.
I Choose them because even after enduring somuch they can still somehow manage to be graceful and keep a smile on their face.
As young as they are they still manage to stay next to their parents and stick together no matter what.
In my mind they are a great example of Love, determination, and strength. Which is what families need more now than ever throughout 2020.
In adopting them They can recover power to their home as soon as the city recovers, keep food on the table until businesses start back up and running. It will also keep gas in their generator for as long as the city takes to restore power. It can get them the necessary daily things they need to function, and hopefully allow them to take their school classes virtually.
All we ask is that if you cannot help financially that you pass it on and make it go viral.
I would love to see their days a lot more brighter than it’s been for them lately, but I can only do it with your help.
I love you Tricia, Cassie, Chris, Miranda, Zachary, and Ethan!! May God continue to shine his love upon you!
Thank you all in advance for helping adopt TheMorrell/Paiz family.
Sincerely,
Veronica Delgado Newhall
