Hurricane IAN Volunteer Work

Donation protected
Hello, My name is James Taylor (JC). I live in beautiful Taylorsville, NC. I am a transplant from Olive Branch, MS. I moved to the area 5 years ago for career opportunities and a better sense of community. I have spent the better part of my life in the industrial maintenance field of work, safety and project management. I am good with my hands and know most construction trades. My relationship with God has grown, and the calling to help others in need drives me to help Hurricane IAN victims. I visit southwest Florida yearly to see long-time friends of mine, Dave and Leigh.

They live in the Ft. Myers area and are like family to me. Hurricane IAN made landfall directly in the path of their home. Visiting this area annually has my heart for my friends and Ft. Myers, FL, community members. I feel I have been given this opportunity to help! I will begin by passing out bottled water and bag lunches for community members in the morning and then the community clean-up process, starting with roads, local services, removal of debris, and boarding up facilities/homes/businesses. This area is predominately elderly citizens that will need help in their recovery. Below you will find a breakdown of all items necessary for the community, Dave and Leigh and a materials list needed. Any donations from local businesses will be greatly appreciated. I currently plan to leave for Florida on Monday
10/3/22, and plan to stay until all funds are utilized. Please get in touch with me for any donations for location details and information. Please pray for all families in need during these trying times. Thank You All, and God Bless!!

I will be providing updates through social media outlets daily. Via Facebook, Tiktok, or Youtube.
