Hurricane Help for the Harrison's

My name is Paige Jones. I live in Lehi, Utah. For those that don't know my friend Hillary (DeHaas) Harrison, she was born and raised in American Fork Utah. She now lives in Houston with her husband and 5 little kids. On August 27th hurricane Harvey hit. The Harrison's were stuck in their home with the water continuously rising. Alone Hillary and her husband rushed to move everything they own to areas in which they thought would not be hit by water, even placing their children's beds on blocks. Hillary and her family were able to stay safe and move to higher ground by the kindness of friends. Friends that allowed them to stay in their home, give them meals to eat and a place to ride out the heart of the storm. The Harrison family did not know what they would find when they returned home. The damage and flooding has been devastating. Their house had 8 inches of water on the whole main level. The water has damaged floors, walls, cabinets, beds. As you can imagine they are now trying to figure out a way to pay for all of the damages. They did not have flood insurance, just like many residents of Houston. Anything you can donate will go directly to her family. They are in need of all things you can think of when it comes to the comfort of a home. Please know that any amount of donation will help.
