My sisters house
Two family members lost their homes and possessions! They left quickly as the water was rising in their neighborhoods. They only had time to grab their pets and children and go! One cat was left behind, but rescued the next day by row boat.
This is my sisters home. She lost everything! She has 2 boys Alex and Noah under 6 years old. They have no flood insurance. My 80 yr old mom also lost whole house and her possessions! Also she has no flood insurance. They need to buy virtually everything from socks, toothpaste to bedding and they also lost their vehicles.
Our hearts are broken for them and all the people in their neighborhood and our town of Katy!
Please help if you can! The kids need clothes, shoes for school. The money will be used immediately to start trying to put their lives back together. They will have to replace every piece of furniture and every appliance. Their "stuff" is gone, but the sun will shine again and please know that you helped two families that are just trying to live normal lives and hit a huge bump in their "road".
