Hunner’s JHD Journey

 My Name is Hunner, I live in Bloomington IN

I was recently diagnosed with Juvenile Huntington’s Disease. This disease is very rare in kids. Less than 10% with this disease are kids my age. My life expectancy is 5 to 10 years once being diagnosed.

My mommy has had to go to part time to be able to care for me and get me to my therapy/Dr. appointments.  We need a little help. Some things are not covered by insurance that I 
need.

I also have a little sister, Vaylynn. She is only 4 but my biggest helper. She doesn’t understand what we are about to go through. 

I don’t have a lifetime to experience the
things that most kids my age get to do.  I’m limited on time and my Mommy, Gigi and family would like to take me places and do things while I’m still able to. Mommy wants to take me to see the ocean or maybe go on a cruise . 

I love to go camping with my Gigi and papaw and may need a special bike so I can participate and do normal things with other kids.  They’re a lot of things this money can go towards that will help in many ways!

But most of all my family is sad and heartbroken so if you are not able to donate please 
pray for me and my whole family as we roll through this journey.
