Hi, my name is Amanda, I'm a Dub in Donegal, and I am raising funds to return and rejoin the #FreedomFlotilla to bring desperately needed food, medical aid, and equipment to the people of #Gaza who are now enduring forced starvation - Famine, something millions of our Irish ancestors suffered, AND forced displacement, scattered to the four corners of the world - as well the carpet bombing they have suffered for the past 6 months.
I have just returned from Istanbul where I was waiting, as a participant in this humanitarian mission, (self funded) with hundreds of volunteer Human Rights observers from round the globe, to join the Freedom Flotilla Coalition - to attempt to #BreakTheSiege - undergoing training in non-violence, until the occupying state used under-hand methods to delay/stop the FFC, Freedom Flotilla Coalition, by, somehow? getting the country - Guinea Bisseau - under which the boats were registered to sail, (maritime law) to withdraw their registration from the two main ships carrying 5,500 tonnes of aid!
The FFC are now working with other countries to get the necessary legal requirements for us to sail, so the FFC requested that we return home until this is completed, which could take weeks/months, in the meantime the starvation in Gaza increases, and the bombs keep falling, more innocents murdered, 47 in the past 24 hours.
I intend to rejoin this humanitarian mission until we deliver the aid already loaded on the ship, but I need your help, to help the beseiged, suffering people in Gaza.
