Sweet, young Hudson Cates was born with a complex and rare heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. He received his 3rd heart surgery to correct the defect on Monday, September 15th, 2014.
He is still in the hospital recovering today.

Hudson is the son of Hicks Elementary School 2nd grade teacher, Brooke Cates, and Killian Middle School 8th grade teacher, Ryan Cates.
