Hudkins family help

Hello friends and family of Bryan and Carrie. If you are reading this you probably already know how precious the Hudkins family is. If you don't know them well, I want to take a minute to tell you about this family. They recently moved to southwest Missouri, where Bryan is from, and are still getting settled in and building relationships. In the short time we have known them from our home school soccer team, we have been impressed with their deep faith in the LORD, their kindness towards others and their joy filled interactions with their children. They are really good people. Recently, they received devastating news that their son Shepherd, who was having headaches for several weeks, has a stage 4 cancer tumor in his brain. I don't know Shepherd well but I can tell you that he is a gentle and joy filled young man who is taking the news like a champ.

I am launching this go fund me page for a couple of reasons.

1) The Hudkins are recent additions to OUR community and we need to get the word out about their situation and come around them and support them through this season. They need our prayers and words of encouragement right now.

2) The Hudkins are spending a lot of time traveling to St Jude's in Memphis, TN for treatments and consultations. They could use financial support during this time to help cover travel costs and time off from work.

If you or someone you know has the ability to come along side this precious family please consider giving a donation and sharing this page with friends and family. I can't imagine being in their shoes and walking through what they are dealing with, however we can take some of that burden away by making sure that they can focus on their time with their son and family instead of worrying about how to cover all of the bills.
