Expanding the 30-year Legacy of Emmanuel Gomado of the Odehe Culture Center in Teshie Accra, Ghana & Germany this is a co-developed program incorporating the benefits and healing aspects of yoga, movement& dance, music therapy, drum meditation, and art therapy. We are supported by many researchers who describe music, movement, and art as therapeutic and medicinal healing agents that promote physical rehabilitation, manage stress, improves communication, enhances memory, alleviates pain, helps to express feelings and most importantly connects you back to your roots.
Helps us provide scholarships for African Diasporans around the globe to Travel Home to Africa, reuniting with their
distance relatives through sharing the benefits of Yoga meaning Unity.
Participants:

Fundraising commitment of $1,500 helps to combat community deterioration, provides community yoga, and therapeutic healing spaces, contributing to alternative and holistic health resources for underserved communities.

History of Yoga from a African perspective including drum & dance and their healing attributes
Exploration of various Yoga methodologies
Hands on practice teaching -seated, standing, balancing, prone, inverted, backbends, and Supine Twists, and anatomy
Recite the name of Sanskrit, Yoruba and Kemet postures
Exploration of Self-Sustainability and Environmental Health, improving our communities

Drum, Culture, Dance, yoga teachers and therapists are encouraged to be apart of this program.
