Recently, Howie was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma, an aggressive fast-growing brain cancer. He is currently undergoing cycled treatment that involves 6 weeks of radiation therapy. 

The Kaufman family is hoping to receive help funding for Howie to receive a home care nurse. Howie is incontinent and due to radiation, has become extremely weak & fatigued; making it difficult for him to walk around. They are also praying to receive money for alternative, holistic treatments and experimental treatments that also cannot be covered by medical insurance; They are currently paying for all of these expenses out of pocket. On top of these illness related expenses, they also need help paying for bills at home. Anything that can be raised is greatly appreciated.

Experimental/clinical trials could potentially prolong his life. Clinical trials would be vastly explored once radiation is over. There is no cure for this type of cancer and doctors are unable to surgically remove it due to it's location. 

Howie has been generous his entire life, constantly being a provider for those in need, whether they're family, friends, or co-workers. He sees the best in people, and is therefore seen as a constant light and guide for his loved ones. This a perfect opportunity to give back to him.
