Houston Students Field Trip to Disney World
KIPP Legacy works primarily with students of color in the low-income community of North Forest in Houston, Texas. Our students strive for excellence every day to achieve their dreams. Our students are strong! They are survivors of Hurricane Harvey AND Tropical depression Imelda. They never let adversity stop them from learning, growing and being amazing people.
Our 4th graders deserve life-changing experiences and opportunities, and we dream of giving them that! For their 4th grade trip, we would like to take students to Orlando, Florida May 18-22, 2020 to the magical place where dreams come true, Disney World!
Our plan for our visit to Orlando includes visiting Disney World and universal Studios. As you can imagine, this trip is a one-in-a-lifetime experience, but also extremely costly. Through the travel company (Adventures Student Travel), it would cost $825 per student. There are 150 students in 4th grade; therefore, this trip would cost $123,750 This price includes motor coach travel, activities, a meal package and hotel stay at Disney World.
This trip would spark curiosity, passion, and inspire our children to dream big. Our kids deserve access to experiences like this, and the opportunity to create beautiful memories! Please consider supporting this big dream we have for our kids.
