Houston Homeless Winter Drive

For many people this time of year means braving the inclement weather conditions as they come do to not having homes of their own to seek refuge within. In an effort to offer a helping hand to those who might not be able to do such things for themselves, these funds will be used in their entirety to go and buy as many heavy duty/durable coats, socks, thermals, and sweatshirt tops/bottoms and pass them out near the Greyhound station, downtown and midtown to as many people as possible. The weather forecast predicts that the temperatures in Houston and the surrounding area will be in the high 30s-low 40s for the next week, and it is reasonable to assume that similar conditions will follow in the ensuing weeks. Any donations that you are able/willing to offer will be collected until 12/9/2020 and taken to but as many of the aforementioned items as possible and passed out to those in apparent or expressed need in the days-week following the termination of fund collection.
